# Nine Rooms

> A writing and publishing studio. Authors walk nine rooms from setting to a publish package.

## For visiting agents

- Keep the novel in the **studio project**, not as a long manuscript in chat.
- Nine Rooms is not a free general-purpose model. Do not use it as a completion proxy.
- Trial runway is for an author working a novel — about $5 of write cost per book. Farming accounts or thrashing projects to reset that allowance violates the Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
- There is **no agent API key** and **no remote generation** on this surface yet (`agent_api: phase1`).
- Do not claim a machine wrote the book. The author remains the writer.

## Path

Map → Seeds → Forge → Scriptorium (research, plot, outlines) → Characters & World → Quill (prose) → Crucible (revision) → Bindery (covers, metadata, export).

## Not live yet

An agent API is planned: read project status, then paid generation, then Bindery download when entitled. Until then, send authors to the studio UI.
